At Little Minds Play Studio, we create purposeful play experiences that spark curiosity, nurture developments, and create meaningful moments for every child.

Big Wonder for Little Minds.

Little Minds Play Studio began at home, with a simple goal: to create play experiences that truly supported children's needs. As a parent of a child with Autism, Kat started setting up sensory activities in her children's play room -- messy, magical little moments that helped with regulation, connection, and joy. What started as home-based play soon grew into something bigger, shaped by lived experience, curiosity, and a deeper belief that every child deserves play that meets them where they're at.

The Rhythm of Our Day

At Little Minds Play Studio, every experience follows a gentle, child-centred rhythm designed to help children feel safe, engaged and inspired as they play, explore and connect.

Welcome & Settle in

Children are welcomed into a thoughtfully prepared play setup, with inviting materials, open-ended resources and clearly arranged play invitations ready to spark curiosity. They are given time to settle in at their own pace, observe the space and begin exploring the experiences that have been carefully set out for them.

Explore & Discover

A collection of engaging sensory, STEM, creative and imaginative play invitations encourages children to investigate, create, problem-solve and connect through child-led play.

Connect & Celebrate

As our time together comes to an end, we slow the pace, celebrate children's discoveries and support a gentle transition home, back to class or into the next part of the event.

We’ve now been to three Little Minds Play Studio sensory play sessions, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! The thought, planning, and creativity that goes into each session is second to none.

Every activity is beautifully curated, and you can see how much care and intention Kat puts into creating meaningful, engaging experiences for the children. As both an early childhood educator and a mum, I’m incredibly impressed.

The aesthetic of each setup is absolutely beautiful, and the variety of materials Kat uses to bring each theme to life is amazing. Everything is thoughtfully presented, inviting, and encourages children to explore, create, and learn through play.

I also love that there are both indoor sessions on Tuesdays and outdoor sessions on Fridays. Having the choice caters to everyone, but there’s something truly special about the Friday sessions playing under the sunshine, surrounded by trees, while connecting with other families creates such a beautiful sense of community. It’s one of our favourite parts of the week.

My daughter absolutely loves every session, and it’s become something we both genuinely look forward to. In fact, as soon as I saw that Kat also offered sensory play setups for birthdays, I booked one for my daughter’s birthday because I knew we had to have these beautiful activity stations as part of her special day. I can’t wait to see what she creates!
